Math : We finish the ''numbers'' unit. Next week, we will go over simple multiplication and division.
Science: Students build their own wetland creature. Thanks for the extra materials!
ELA: This week, we watched a Bill Nye (wetlands) and students had a listening assignment linked to that. Students worked on their Writer's Handbook and their spelling activity. Next week, we will focus on grammar.
FLA: Students continued working on their wetland creature. Their plan and draft should be done. Next week, they will review, edit and start publishing it. They also received a novel (La créature du marais). We will start the novel study next week.
Social Studies: Students received a map of Canada with instructions to complete it. The map needs to be done for October 16th. Next week, we will start talking and taking notes about the Atlantic region.
School library: The library is open! This year, students will be able to borrow books from the library by ordering their books online, thanks to Mrs. Fitz! There will be no class time to order books; students should do this at home. Here is the link to order your library books:
