Happy Friday!

Students that are isolating at home are expected to complete the work posted in Google Classroom. If they don't, they will fall behind and it will be difficult to get caught up.

Handouts, answer keys, notes, and assignments given during the week are posted on Google Classroom almost every day.

School library:  If you would like to borrow new books, be sure to complete the form on Google Classroom this weekend. There will be no class time to order books; students should do this at home. Here is the link to order your library books: Library request form

What can be done at home to improve language and math skills :
Important notice:
  • There will be a Math test (decimals) next Friday (March 5th).
  • It would be greatly appreciated if students could complete the survey about the Learning Commons signage: Signage survey
  • It is strongly advised that students have their own French/English dictionary and a Bescherelle.  (I do not have enough paper versions of those kinds of dictionaries for every student in the classroom).
  • For the book report/book fair, I suggest that students have a trifold (2$ at Dollorama) to present their work.  Here is an example: Trifold - Salon du livre

Due dates:
  • I would like that each student writes a message about the class…it could be what they as a class did this year, an experience they all shared, or even a message to their future selves. It could be humorous or serious, maybe include some inside jokes… etc.  This is due on Monday.
  • All of the written parts for the book report must be completed by Monday.  (See Google Classroom for instructions).

Marks posted on Power School (to be posted by the end of the week):
  • None for now.
