Happy Friday!
Students that are isolating at home are expected to complete the work posted in Google Classroom. If they don't, they will fall behind and it will be difficult to get caught up.
School library: Ms. Fitz will come visit our class for our book exchange on Monday. If you would like to borrow new books, be sure to complete the form on Google Classroom this weekend. There will be no class time to order books; students should do this at home. Here is the link to order your library books: Library request form
- 15 minutes of reading in FLA and ELA (can alternate the days of reading)
- Practice timetables : 0 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7
- Listens to one (or more) show in French each week: Flip TFO , Tout.TV zone jeunesse , Télé-Québec zone jeunesse
- We will start decorating the door for Halloween next Monday and we are in need of materials. If you have one of the following things in your house and don't mind sharing with us, that would be helpful : yarn (orange, brown and yellow), black candles (flameless one), creepy Halloween decoration that is sound activated, streamers (orange, black and purple).
- Suggestion to store binders, textbook, pencil case, etc. in the classroom: I have provided small baskets to students who needed storage to put their stuff in class, but they are too small or starting to break. Here is a suggestion for a good size plastic bin:
- Test for the Atlantic region and the map of Canada on Monday, October 26th.
- ELA : Acrostic poem
- Math : Estimation and rounding up numbers
Week at a glance:
Please check Google Classroom for details on the work done this week.
Have a nice weekend!
