November 6th 2020

Happy Friday!

Students that are isolating at home are expected to complete the work posted in Google Classroom. If they don't, they will fall behind and it will be difficult to get caught up.

Handouts, answer keys, notes and assignments given during the week are posted on Google Classroom almost every day.

School library:  Ms. Fitz will come visit our class for our book exchange on Monday. If you would like to borrow new books, be sure to complete the form on Google Classroom this weekend. There will be no class time to order books; students should do this at home. Here is the link to order your library books: Library request form

What can be done at home to improve language and math skills :
Important notice:
  • Suggestion to store binders, textbook, pencil case, etc. in the classroom:  I have provided small baskets to students who needed storage to put their stuff in class, but they are too small or starting to break.  Here is a suggestion for a good size plastic bin.  It is strongly advise that students have a bigger and sturdier bin to store their school supplies:

Due dates:
  • The oral presentations for the ''Combat des clips'' will start on Monday, November 9th.  (See calendar of presentations : Calendrier_Combat des clips).
  • Learn the bilingual O Canada song for November 11th (Remembrance Day).
  • We are about to finish the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence lowlands unit in Social Studies.  A test might be given at the end of next week or at the beginning of the one after.  Keep an eye on Google Classroom Social Studies contents for the specific date.

Marks posted on Power School:
  • FLA: ''L'étrange Noël de monsieur Jack'' oral comprehension
  • Math : Multiplication et Division
